Staff uncooperative, and sarcastic. Grounds not kept up. Apartment was filty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff didn't return my deposit when I decided not to take their nasty, filty apartment.
They received a deposit twice for one apartment.
Don't move here....you'll regret it.

I am the Manager of Alder Creek Apartments. I am truly concerned as to the nature of the comments this nonresident has expressed. Obviously, this website has become her only tool, since she has threatened a lawsuit, for which, she has no legal grounds. The situation stands. We do require a "Deposit to Secure Occupancy" to hold an apartment for move-in. This individual rented one of our large 3 bedroom townhomes, site unseen, this floor plan is highly sought after, and there is rare availability. We advised her of our time frame to turn this apartment, and that it would require a complete rehab. This individual appeared in my office about one week prior to her move-in date. She brought in her house plants, as she had arrived in town with a loaded U-haul. We felt compassion for this individual, as she was required to pay a daily rate for her truck, however, she was fully informed of the time frame required to "turn" the apartment for move-in. On the date she came in with her house plants, she insisted on seeing the "unturned" apartment. I advised her that it was not in good shape, and needed a lot of work. She told me she did not care, and just wanted to see it for the space. I showed her the apartment. Less than a week later, she returned and told me she could not wait any longer for the apartment (which was prior to the promised move-in date of 4/1/07). I did advise her that she would forfeit the "Deposit to Secure Occupancy" of $100, this is a legal procedure, and there was a legally binding signed form by both the prospective resident and myself. The apartment was moved into by a new resident, and was beautiful upon completion of the rehab. We are not sarcastic, but honest and fair, and to the point. There is no need for sarcasm, however, I am concerned about the obsessive nature in which this person continues to harass us by posting unnecessary comments at this site. Alder Creek Management |

I have to comment on this. I live here and the manager is a two-faced liar. She tells you she will do something and then does nothing. This place tore down the playground but never put up a new one which they claim a new one was bought for $20,000.00. Who would spend that much money on a bunch of bratty kids and then make everyone pay for it.

If you are the manager then you are the same person who did nothing when I complained about the DRUG DEALING that was going on in the building. I let your assistant know to many times and for you to do nothing as well was just OUTRAGEOUS!! We moved out in Jan, and COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!! DO NOT MOVE TO ALDER CREEK!!!!!!
