I have always found this apartment complex to be properly run and well maintained, being courteous and kind to your neighbors as well as the manager and the staff has always gotten me far, even when I lived in cities like LA I have used this same mentality. I love to take my dog and go for walks around the complex, I enjoy the wetland area and the sounds of the nocturnal critters at night, the sounds can be very peaceful and relaxing. I also found that the apartments are very reasonable and are in great location. I frequent Portland often and the commute is easier than when I lived in some of the suburbs of Portland. The manager just threw a "luau" for the apartments and that was quite enjoyable, no other apartment complex I have ever lived in has done that... I find a real sense of community here and try to ignore the more or less disgruntled tenants, hard to find any places without a few bad seeds... but they are easy to ignore. I read some of the reviews on here and am not only abhorred by the terrible grammar but annoyed by the complaints... people, please try to leave Jerry Springer on the television set and not make everyone's lives around yours similar... For the sake of decency, bringing the managers personal life into a simple apartment review is, well, relatively disgusting... Kudos to those of you who take the time to say something nice! People are more than happy to complain, but to say something nice takes a bit more time and effort :)
I really like Alder Creek and intend to stay until I move onto another city.

what the hell are you talking about this place sucks , it seems that your stuped .and dont realy see the big picture. it has drug dealers , people come in , out all night long. the manager dose nothing about it. why you ask? becouse she dose noe live here .cant wate to get out of here , when i do im making shure that the vancouver police know what realy gos on here , the manager she should not ever have ajob here. this place is a real ---- hole please if you want to movin in here please dont , run as fas as you can .
