Alexan at Columbia Shores

RIP OFF ALERT! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/14/2008 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. My husband and I lived in the Alexan for 9 months in 2003-2004 (it had just switched to the new ownership). We had several very neat cats, and we paid quite a bit of money in fees so they would be allowed (at least an additional $500, if I recall). When we were ready to leave, there was a coffee stain on the carpet near the kitchen. They insisted on calling it a cat-related stain. They charged us OVER $2500 just to leave the place. We were in the middle of a cross-country move, and didn't have the energy to fight. But between the deposit and the exit fees, we paid enough to re-carpet the entire apartment. Also, it is hard to overstate the noise of the planes. These are not your typical airplanes. These are jets from some nearby airforce base. The fighter fuel would cling to our windshields and couldn't even be washed off with soap and water. YUCK!!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED - DON"T MOVE THERE!
