A little Better

We have lived here since Nov. 2004. When we moved in it took some getting used to. Neighbors were all pretty quiet. Then the summer of 2005 hit. Managment was laughable at best, I agree with the other review about the manager walking around like a god, or thinking she was. But the other manager was a nice lady. We had some fun tenants living around us. Neighbors upstairs watching Porn on a Sunday afternoon with their windows wide open and the volume up to loud (they are gone thank god), neighbors who yell at their kids non stop and call them names (still to this day), it seems as though the tenants that are the most problems are the ones that the former managers let in. The new managers are pretty good. Its still laughable at times. I love the whole "NO JUMPING IN THE POOL RULE!!!" I dont allow my kids to jump in the pool and it makes me angry that I have almost been jumped on a few times while swiming at night, but then one of the managers says something most of the time, and the other says nothing to her own son who has to be in his late teens or early tweenties and seems to ignore whats going on in the pool when she is working alone!

Night time noise has gone way down since we moved in. But come on people, you want peace and quite you shouldnt be living in a apartment. DUH!!!! God forbid that kids run in the house! WE HAVE NO YARDS FOR OUR KIDS TO PLAY IN!!!! And i refuse to let them run around the neighborhood like the other parents do.

Stray cats are a problem, dogs, at least where we live doesnt seem to be a problem.

In the past the mait. people were a joke, its still pretty sad. We have a hole in our carpet, they glued it! Needless to say we have a rug over it now. The cabinets ARE garbage. But the newly remodled ones were gutted and totally redone. They look really nice, but what do I know, I still live in an old one. The new windows they put in dont really help. Heater is on 24 hours a day during the winter.

Rent price is one of the better for the area. Thats probably the only reason we have stayed here. They did take out practically all the bonuses of living in an apartment. No fitness center, laundry fac, hot tub, basketball court. We do still have one pool that we seem to have to share with the neigboring complex. AND THE TENANTS WHO LET THEIR KIDS SWIM IN REGULAR DIAPERS NEED TO BE REMOVED RIGHT AWAY!!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!

Parking is ok. Theft is a problem. I have personally witnessed several cars get broken into by what appeared to be residents. YES I CALLED TO POLICE! They are just really slow to respond.

No lighting in between apartments, kind of a bad idea. Oh and the jerks who think they need to peel out in the parking lot and rip through the neighborhood.

I have wanted to set up a neighborhood watch for this area. Only in this one it would be, Watch as the problem people in the neighborhood dissapear never to be seen or heard from again.
