Ashley Terrace is a very nice place to raise a family. You have a large park with softball fields and a respected elementary school across the street. Plenty of kids around too.
The management is wonderful. Shirley is strict, but fair. She plays favorites to no one. She will not tolerate loud noise, so if your young and like to get rowdy, find someplace else.
The maint. staff is quick to fix whatever problem you might have. They also have lawn care once a week and perform regular maint of the grounds. It never looks ghetto even though the area it is in isn't the best in town. However, the cops will tell you it's one of the good complexes in town.
It has a great location too. It is two blocks from a state highway and five minutes from two major interstates.
My only complaints are the 'thin walls' and the complex next door . If your upstairs neighbors have kids, you will hear them running around. The complex next door was built about two years ago. Some people claim car break ins have gotten worse, but I rent a garage so I have no problem with that.
I've lived here twice, when I first moved to Vancouver and after my kids came to live with me. I would recommend it to anyone with kids or anyone that likes living in a nice quiet complex.
