I lived here for a year in one of the one bedrooms on the bottom (underground-ish) floor. We had a huge problem with bugs, but I think this would be resolved by living on the second floor. The rent was very affordable, which was the main reason we sought out this place and for the price, it's a decent apartment. Tiny, yes. Noisy, yeah pretty much. Also, my car got broken into once and things stolen out of it. The area is great though, besides the occasional theft. Easy access to highways, parks, schools.

If you're going to live here, I'd recommend you spring for a 2nd floor apartment and then you should be fine.
