I was a resident and have lived there during 2003-2006. I have had different units in this place. The last one I was in had a horrid mold and mildew problem. Some of the maintenance men have been replaced over and over. I have had an ant problem and then the units were not cleaned well when I moved in. The manager there is the sweetest person there. I would have moved out and never come back if it weren't for her. The asst manager was a complete idiot. She never got the work orders done and the manager would have to clean up after her messes. The caliber of person they have in this complex has gone to hell in the years I have lived there. The management won t do anything about noise complaints. I even had the pleasure of having my niece and nephew evacuated from the pool by the VPD when some idiot was shooting his gun off. Then there was a knife fight and several domestic problems along with someone stealing stuff from my back porch. And if that weren't enough they make you pay for water, sewer and garbage then you have to pay for the quarters for the laundry room! I usually paid between $95 in water because I would have to get quarters for clothes each week then pay $55 a month and I live alone! From what I was told the water bill is divided up between everyone who lived there so I was paying for water I wasn t even using! There is dog mess all over the complex because the tenants won t clean up after their damn pets! And I mean it is on the sidewalk! Also be careful they tend to let people have huge animals in the complex instead of the 25lb weight restriction. I saw some damn Great Danes there when I was doing my laundry! They will put down that the dog is of a different breed so you can keep your pets when you move in. I hate to be a ----- about this but this is nothing but the truth. I wouldn t recommend moving there unless you have no other choice.

I happen to live in a complex with a dog that is over the weight limit - she is a companion pet, which is very common now days. Get over it. People have pets. Yes, you should clean up after them, but perhaps apartment living isn't for you.
