Not horrible but beware

I agree with most of the negative comments here. I moved here because I'd heard it was one of the best places in Vancouver to live, but I've learned that's not so. The apartments are pretty poorly made, and I stay here only because of the location.
Sound and noise are big problems. I can hear my neighbor's every move and sound, and can only assume they can hear mine. And on a windy day, be prepared for aircraft noise from about 6pm until 10:30 or 11pm. Air traffic is rerouted from a normal East/West take-off and landing pattern, to a North/South pattern, which puts the planes directly over your apartment. Very loud!
Electric bills are through the roof, because cold air comes in around doors and windows. On a windy day, the wind whistles through your apartments. In the winter, expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $130/month in electricty in a 2 bedroom apartment.
Parking is horrible, with people taking up spaces with things like motorcycles and boats. People park their cars in a vacant spot, then do not move them for months at a time, yet management does nothing about it. One covered space is allocated for each apartment, but it is usually nowhere near your actual home. Studio apartments do not even get an assigned space, which you don't find out until after you've moved in.
If you have a complaint about noise, you are instructed by the management to call 911. We were actually told that they couldn't do anything about a noise issue, and that it must be handled by the police.
Overall, this is not the most horrible place to live, but I do believe it is overpriced for the little that you do get.
