I wouldn't let my worst enemy live here

Autumn Chase is the worst place to live ever. I lived in a studio apartment which was way too expensive for the small amount of space. I had ants from the time I moved in until the time I moved out. I lived in the same building as Dave and he had something to say about my every breath. I am legitamately deaf and even when I showed him all papers of disability he fined me for noise even though I had told him and my neighbors of my disability. On Christmas eve someone stole my car out of the parking lot and ran through the fence with it and even though the car was reported stolen he charged me for the fence since it was my car that went through the fence! The office staff LOST my rent check on 2 seperate occasions and when I showed them canceled checks that they cashed it, they still served me eviction papers. There was never any parking, the neighbors owned loud annoying dogs and on more than one occasion, Dave tried to let himself into my apartment unannounced without any reason. Being a single female this is not cool and I changed the locks myself and refused to give him a key (which I did check with the local police about and they said I could do) This place is absolutely horrible and because I am young was treated as if I were some dumb girl that didn't know anything. I do not advice my worst enemy to even live here.

I just read the above review in utter amazement. I won't attempt to address the issues cited but it sounds as though the writer/review has some questionable retribution issues. I have lived at Autumn Chase for 13 years and just renewed my lease. The complex meets my needs as a single person. I have been here through the tenure of three office managers prior to Dave, and I have to say he tops the list for performance. He along with the office staff and the maintenance staff make Autumn Chase a good choice for a comfortable living experience. wrb

All of this happened to me as well when I lived there, they lost my checks and when I called to to tell them I could hear music playing from two apartments down from me they just made fun of me and hung up the phone. When we moved in our fire alarm didn't work and we found this out when I came home to a house full of smoke and no fire alarm going of and my boyfriend was sleeping in the bedroom and had no idea. The smoke came from their dryer that I told them wasn't working, they checked it out and said it was fine so I used it and sure enough it wasn't fine because it almost caught on fire!!! It got so bad that I wrote the company that owns the apartment of how bad it was there. I would never ever tell anyone to live there.

I completely agree, this place absolutely SUCKS. My upstairs neighbors throw cigarette butts onto my patio, dropped two beer bottles that shattered onto my patio and they did nothing about, letting me walk right into it with my dog. I've complained about the cigarette butts and the managers were rude and did nothing to resolve the issue. I've also complained about all the noise coming from upstairs. They have visitors literally every 15-20 minutes, that doesn't stay longer than to knock on the door. have someone answer the door then they turn around and leave. They stomp and hammer stuff allllll night long. The managers don't care. So I have no choice left than to contact the police to enforce the noise ordinance.

The experiences of the the folks who have responded to the original message, are very dramatic, and I sincerely doubt the complete accuracy of any of their messages. The one incident I have had with a trouble-some upstairs neighbor was very quickly addressed by the management staff and that neighbor was not allowed to re-new their lease. Thankfully, that tenant is now gone and I have had no other issues since then. We had a waterheater break in our unit one year and it leaked water all over the apartment. I had changed my phone number and the management staff was completely unable to reach me in order to inform me of the problem. They contacted a friend of mine who eventually caught up with me and all was resolved very quickly and adequately. The management staff here went above and beyond in this circumstance and should only be rewarded for their efforts. This property has over 400 units in it, which means there are a lot of people to keep happy at Autumn Chase. Not everyone will be completely satisfied 100% of the time, and I am quite sure that if folks just take it upon themselves to relax, they would post far fewer responses like those above.

I agree with your comments. I have lived in Autumn Chase for 5 years now and am completely satisfied with management staff and also, maintenance. Anytime I have a maintenance request, the problem is addressed either the same day or the next. The office staff could not be more accomodating and kind. I have never had them lose any of my checks. I know everything is not perfect, but I think they do a darn good job of operating such a large property.
