Hi There,

In order to be fair, I will first talk about the things that I like about the Brentwood. The rent is fairly inexpensive, there is adequate room in the apartment with a cute layout and the location is convenient to where I need to go. It's convenient to pay rent online and in my experience maintenance has been good. Having said that, potential renters may want to keep in mind some other issues.

-Frequently between 10PM - 1AM, various people outside will play rap music at an extremely high volume.

-The insulation is terrible and my neighbors can be heard (both in the place below us and people outside).

-I'm fairly certain there is a guy permanently camping out in one of the garages you can rent.

-One of our cars were stolen and we were told by the police that cars are stolen a lot from that parking lot in particular.

-If you ever come home after 10 PM at night, it's nearly impossible to find a parking spot.

-When we first came in, I would try to call the manager's office with questions or concerns, but no one answers the phone and I've never once had a message returned. I've since given up on trying to reach their offices by telephone. I haven t been able to get much changed by talking to them in person.

-There is a band of children that roam the parking lot unsupervised, despite the fact that there is a park across the street.

-My neighbors used to smoke and the smell permeated one of our bathrooms for a while.

-There have been at least a couple of burglaries in the last year at the The Brentwood.

The rest are somewhat subjective complaints:

-Some of the neighbors really give me the creeps and I don't feel comfortable walking through the parking lot after dark.

-Neighbors don't smile at each other or say 'hi' around here and people seem fairly suspicious of one another.

-On hot days the pool is always packed full of people and tons of children. This is totally understandable, but if you don't have kids, it's rather unappealling and an amenity that you pay for.

Its funny cause everything you just said is sooooo true same complaints i have we even got a car stolen also !!!!!

HAHA... I have seen they guy in the garage too... our conclusion is that he must be selling drugs or doing drugs because there are always other people stopping by his garage.
