Pros:

Nice area in Hazel Dell. Relatively safe, near shoping, grocery stores etc., grounds are maintained well

Cons:

Rent goes up every time you renew
The fat lady who is the manager is a ----- from hell. She acts like she is your friend but make a payment 1 day late and she treats you like a criminal , even though you have made the last 12 payments on time and you just forgot to make this one because you were too busy or something.

The police visited this complex almost every other day while I lived here because of all the trash and riff raff that lived here

No matter how much you complain about noise and loud parties at the complex, the management will do nothing about it

Don't live in this yellow ugly POS complex. Buy a house

AND THE FREEWAY NOISE IS TERRIBLE AS THE APARTMENT IS CLOSE TO THE FREEWAY

ALSO, THERE IS A HIGH VOLTAGE SUB STATION RIGHT NEXT TO THE APARTMENT AND HIGH VOLTAGE WIRES RUN ABOVE IT. THIS CAN SCREW UP YOUR KIDS' BRAINS

Personal attacks aren't nice. If it's so bad, why do you live there? Surely you must have noticed the freeway and substation before you moved in. Personal responsibility is lacking here on several levels. If you're rent is late, it's late. Did you let management know you'd be late? Or did you just pay it late? Does your lease include a grace period? Surely you read the lease before signing it. No place is perfect, even the neighborhood where one might own their home.

^ Ok, I have to respond to the above person. I am a current tennent at The Crown Plaza. Although the things that this person said do take it to an extreme personal level, he/she is accurate beyond that. Seriously. I have experienced similar things. My apartment has had three attempted burglaries (just while I'm home) since I moved here 6 months ago. It's not the greatest place, although I'm grateful to have my own apartment. I'm hoping to save a little and move somewhere that I actually feel safe, since I do not here. And the comment about the police is absolutely true. They drive through here at least once a week. It's almost insane. And that's not something anyone mentions when you're signing your lease.
