If you want your cars stolen and your apartment broken into by the maintenence staff- move here!

We have repeatedly called the management office regarding the noise level of the people who live below us. Even as I type this I am listening to and feelng the bass from their stereo. We call the "Metro watch" the office tells us to call and they say there is a chance an "officer" may or may not respond. It is up to the "officer". Someone tried to steal our truck out of the parking lot last week- they also tried to steal another vehicle of the same make and model that same night out of the same lot. The office management only said "oh- sorry". No notices were sent out informing the residents that this had happened and to be aware of it. A year and a half ago someone on the maintenence staff came into our apartment unannounced, while we were not home and placed stickers on our washer and dryer saying they were property of Aspen Square Management(the company who owns Discovery Park). Once again management could only say "sorry'. Our rent checked has been posted to someone elses account- management puts a "warning" note on our door about our "late payment". I called and gave the ladies who work in the office the check # and the date it cleared our account. I called everyday for 3 days trying to get it straightened out. Finally 5 days later they found it posted incorrectly. I said I shouldn't be charged any late fees- I was told "not this time". Does that mean I would the next time they screwed up' We paid $10 a vehicle to park in one spot. Now- to me that means we should be guaranteed our spot, right' Nope- people always park there. When the office gets called on it they tell me I can come down to the office and get a "warning" sticker to put on the car. That is their job! There are always abandoned cars parked here- they do not get towed. There is one trash compactor for the entire complex- garbage is all over the place because no one wants to walk to the compactor. I will not use the pool- last summer people were throwing furniture off of balconies into the pool. These people lived in the same building as the management staff- nothing was done about it.During the last snow storm no one salted or shovled the sidewalks. My husband did ours so we could walk outside without falling.Kids are always riding skateboards on the walkways (which are like a wood deck)in front of our apartment and stare in our windows. In the lease, under rules it says kids are not to be playing on the walkways. When the office gets contacted they tell us to ask the kids to stop playing there. The women who work in the office do NOTHING for its residents. We am stuck in our lease until June- as soon as it is up we am getting out of here. It is a poorly run complex and when people ask us where we live we simply say "the ghetto" and they know we are referring to Discovery Park.
