As I read all of the reviews it sounds like someone is upset because Heather and/or Laura have had to enforce the rules and regulations! That happens when you don't comply. Look Heather has a hard enough job trying to keep everyone in line without you folks talking so much crap about her, the property and the stupid pool that will be closed in just a couple of months. Some irresponsible parent failed to put on a swimmers diaper, it happens, don't be so uptight. The Cannon balls or can-opener is not allowed so that YOU, YOUR FRIENDS, OR CHILDREN DON'T GET INJURED...this is for their safety. As for Laura, the Feisty Mexican, she hates the air conditioner and does not have one in her office, she likes it BLAZING HOT! As for the children hanging out in the Clubroom...it's part of the office and they have a business to run. Why can't YOUR children hang out in THEIR HOME with YOU' Really you guys...the Moron as you like to call him works really hard to keep the grounds nice and clean every day for you. Everyone here at Discovery Park from the bottom to the top of the ladder have always been kind and respectful to our family. Thanks!

I disagree...people are giving their thoughts on things that can and need to be improved. The place is getto and not safe at all. The mgmt don't care and nor will they ever as long as you don't bother them with questions or problems so they can sit on their A$$ all day for their 8 bucks an hour. I mean really what do you expect?

I do agree that Heather works really hard and does her very best.
However, the pool has become a waiting pool. There were kids who were getting into trouble for jumping into the pool feet first. They weren't horsing around they were just getting into the pool. Since when is jumping in the pool consider horse play? Kids were getting into trouble for splashing. If people don't want to get wet then maybe they should stay out the pool area. Now I can understand that they don't want people doing cannonballs and what not. When I signed my lease agreement as to the pool rules. I never signed anything stating that we were not allowed to jump or splash. Kids love to splash and jump and the parents should be watching their children at all times to see that they are not harming themselves or anyone else. It should be the parents responsibility. Since Management and the pool monitors want to enforce rules such as no jumping and no splashing. But won't enforce or make sure that small children are properly attired. You say, "it was for only 1 day and get over it." Well guess what it has happened 3 different times not just 1. I pay for the pool just as everyone else in this park community does and reserve the right to use it during all operating hours. Management says its the parents responsibility to make sure that his/her child(rens) are properly attired. If a parent is not following the rules then its the managements or our pool monitors responsibility to be checking to making sure everyone is properly attired. This however is in our lease rules. Not everyone has an air conditioner in their home, the pool is a way to relieve people from the heat. So what if the pool is only open for a few more months. I pay for it and I want to use it. If you haven't noticed its HOT outside and in some cases even hotter in the apartments. You may or may not enjoy the pool. My family loves it and use if often. My family and does everyone else deserve to use it when they want too.
As for the clubhouse not being air conditioned...why should my kids have to play inside our home all the time just b/c management doesn't want to put in another air conditioner so that kids can play comfortably. Discovery Park doesn't offer another play source for children. I would love if they had an outdoor play area for children. The indoor playground is something that they feature as an attraction. However, my kids are unable to play in it because they are going to get heat exhaustion from just being in the room.
By the way no one is complaining about the grounds. So why bring it up?
Thanks!
