we lived there for a year. after we left we got charged a couple hundred above and beyond security deposit and pet fee. Pets only damaged the sliding door screen. No accidents on carpets. This place does not believe in normal "wear and tear". single trash compactor for complex is always overflowing. carpet was Infested with fleas, and our poor pug suffered for it. Didn't matter what kind of type of method we used to remove them from him or the carpet, they kept coming back. Now, in our new place, he has never had a flea since we moved here 8 months ago. Black Moss is an issue, it just keeps growing its very hard to kill. bleach pretty much just temp. reduces it or hides for a while. Its a uphill battle to try and remove it all. Moss thrives in places with poor air circulation. An even more disturbing thing is we cockroaches kept turning up in the kitchen every so often. Apartment bought some weird chemical over and put in all the cracks in the kitchen wall near the sink. They seem to know a lot about what kitchen wall to put chemical on. I'm guessing its a common problem in the complex. My dad coughed a lot for many months when he was there. he thought it was from all the grease he comes in contact with from baking at a store. But, after moving out, his cough vanished. Very possible it was caused by the mold. Had parties next door who played extreme loud music late at night and wear busted with drugs, marijuana i think. Had a couple people peak into random windows and even an attempt to kidnap a child at night from her bedroom. Always had a problem

Looking at those pictures, I'd like to clarify. The window pictures do not show black mold. They show mildew. VERY common in the northwest. Open the windows, turn on fans. In every lease I've ever signed in Washington or Oregon, they tell you to turn on bathroom fans while you shower, kitchen fans while you cook, and open a couple windows, a few inches each day for about an hour to prevent mildew and mold. Black mold is inside of walls and under carpet. It has huge spores. It is very obvious, and you cant bleach it away. The material it grows upon must be replace. So, once again, THAT, is mildew in the pictures. And no, I've never lived here. No, I'm not management. Just someone sick of all the people giving biased, unfounded reviews while I'm apartment searching.
