I've loved living here from the very first day, and will be quite content to live here the rest of my life. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, since there are many residents who have lived here for a very long ---e. It's all because Forest Glen is so much more than just an apartment complex, and only because its wonderful and caring staff works so hard to maintain a sense of a home and a community, which in turn makes for wonderful and caring neighbors!

The rent here is very reasonable, especially when you consider the wonderful amenities, all of which are accessible without ever having to step outside. If you haven't yet visited the complex, check out the web site at http://www.aptsnorthwest.com/forest_glen.html, and you'll see what I mean.

My "Equal Pay" electric bill here is just $25.00 each month, even though I run a computer and stereo or TV all day long. Even when you add the $10 fee for hot water (that's always hot!), it's a real bargain compared to paying $63.00 each month at my last one bedroom apartment. Thanks to the concrete and steel structure, my apartment very quiet, stays warm & cozy in the winter and cool & comfy in the summer.

As for maintenance: work orders (though my apartment has only required a couple of very minor repairs) are always handled in a ---ely manner; the landscaping is groomed each week; the grounds are checked for litter daily; entry and hallway carpeting is vacuumed and shampooed on a regular basis; and all of the common areas (community room, laundry rooms, fitness room, and pool areas are beautifully maintained and kept immaculate). I also greatly appreciate the carpeting in my apartment being shampooed for free each ---e I renew my annual lease.

If you happen to read a negative review, read it carefully, and please consider the source...

1. What responsible adult would ever leave both their wallet and CD collection in an unattended vehicle, and then blame management for them being stolen'

2. With all the humidity from so many rainy days here in Vancouver, of course mold and mildew could become a problem. Unlike the other two apartments I've had in Vancouver, there has never been the slightest trace of mildew here.

3. Except when it was obvious that someone was in the process of either moving in or out, I have never found the security doors wedged open.

4. I have never encountered an unwelcome stranger at my door, or anywhere else in the complex.

5. My apartment faces the parking lot, and there has never been a "gang fight", nor are there gang or biker types living, or making drug deals, here.

6. On just two separate occasions I've had to report noise disturbances. Management obviously took care of it, since there was never a repeat performance.

And one last thought... Tenants can only be evicted for good reason, so why criticize management (possibly on more than one occasion) for a situation created by yourself alone'

So, come join our little neighborhood. You won't regret it!

AND YOUR A BIG FAT LIER! I want to rate the abuse that goes on in the said complex. Landlords and the money scams done to the tenants The perverted men stalking single, pretty tenants, landlord sides with the perverted, Landlord is a liar when it comes to keeping SO/deposits, charging for light bulbs, to tan in tanning bed, use complex computer in day room and use printer and printer paper. Charges for anything that will line the deep pockets of these landlords. Landlord puts notes constantly on tenants doors, falsely accusing incant tenants of some act, without proof of cameras, her proof is the fat, ugly, sad people that have no life, but to cause the well establish people pure trouble!!!!!! Other words; run you off so they can steal the security deposit..... Landlords repeats, behind close door personal conversation,to the old hags residing there, to the courts, to the city of Vancouver, WA. Your business is out there being abused! Landlords are out for , are trouble makers, embrace hostel environment Ole tenants, a ---- & --- (------- and ----) are pure stirrers, trouble makers, where I have been present when the both told the landlord that a long ---e tenant (who is cute, tiny.... by the way~) said tenant~ is a . NOT TRUE!!!!!!
