I have lived here for several years. When I first moved in things were fantastic. There was an excellent manager and the maintenance staff was prompt, knowledgeable and always friendly. Recently the property took on new owners. Their weird and unusual demands on the staff caused the manager to quit. They hired a new manager with NO experience and a seriously bad attitude. This caused the maintenance staff to quit. The new managers husband then obtained the job and equally has little to no experience in maintenance. Maintenance requests have to be followed and almost in a pestering nature. The first response to your maintenance requests will be your imagining the problem or basically your lying. The pool is fantastic seeing has it is almost 9 feet deep, but keeping it clean and open is usually a problem. The spa jets hardly ever work and the new maintenance staff has admitted they are still in the learning process. The rent is cheap for us, but in talking with other tenants they pay an exhorbenant amount to live here. It seems like the apartments can charge whatever they want regardless of what's posted. Once I went into the office, saw an 'apartment finder' posting of the listing price and was quoted $50 more and then when I pointed out the listing was told it was outdated and quickly thrown away. The 'D' building was remolded due to a fire but only a few apartments. The rest are outdated with very old and non-working appliances. Some apartments have problems with rodents and insects which likewise to the repair issues go unresolved. I have also noticed in recent months a decline in security. I have had several small items stolen. The neighbors are loud and I can hear every move they make. They likewise can here us and we've had several complaints- not directly to the management because they won't do anything but send you away. There is no assigned parking which is frustrating because tenant two rows above you will park in your spot to get a front parking spot. In addition they just changed all the locks and rules regarding the clubhouse and laundry facilities. They claimedit was due to safety and security. The keys hardly ever work in the locks- constantly getting stuck- and the laundry rooms are usually full and are not open after 10pm. Don't consider renting here unless your desperate.

This person has issues with the management or didn't get thier way in something. If they hadcomplaints they should have made them directly to the managment becuase they would fix it like they did for me. I also know that if they would ask the managment what happend to the old staff rather than make accusations they would tell them because I asked and got a response. Also about the noise problem I live on the top floor in the middle of four apartments and I rarely ever hear my neighbors and one of them has a kid! The parking is not that bad I never have a problem finding a spot right in front of my apartment. I have never had a problem with the keys for the club house or laundry facilities and personally I like the fact that they are locked up so that not just anybody can use them or steal my things. The maintenance man has always been honest with us and fixed our problems and he has never treated us as if the problems were our own fault even if they were. If I were you I would not listen to this resident's opinon but come and see these apartmens for your self and be the judge.

Management had a close relative living in the complex that could of wrote the response. The relative acted as a snitch. Some of the accusations are true. I know of a tenant who told me he had his stove worked on and the stove still has a minor problem. He also told me about trying to mail a letter when management is gone for the night. He simply through his mail in a corner of an indoor stairwell so someone could mail it. The mananger picked up his mail and posted the letters with a note claiming she would not mail it for him on his door. I saw the letter the manager sent him. The mail could of been stolen or late if he had gone on a scheduled trip. That tenant plans to move. There is still some overt sex acts in the outdoor spa and pool.

That's true about the managers relative! It was a BIG problem as anything was reported- major, minor or grossly exaggerated. But when another tenant reported a problem you weren't taken seriously. I'm glad that the other user ( muzog06 ) had a better experience with management. In my case, nothing worked to get a kind smile or positive word no matter how many egg shells I walked around or cookies I baked. I liked that the laundry facilities were locked AFTER management had gone home- that was great safety precaution- I don't know why they had to change it. Have you ever tried to juggle kids, a laundry basket AND your keys? I can't believe their STILL having problem with sex acts in the spa- just goes to show that the management not listening is at least half true!
