Can you be charged for anything else' From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/19/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   I looked at this place and discovered that you must pay a lot more than just your rent each month. Want covered parking' Add $20 Want a Washer/Dryer' Add $35 Want water: Add about $25 per person Want to use the dumpsters' Add $8 for trash I might be off by a dollar or two on the charges, I was soooo shocked I didn't write it all done. For two of us this added over $110 more each month. We went around the corner and found an apartment with all this included in the rent plus free cable, and this place is just as nice, if not nicer. That's another $50 bucks, making a savings of $160. You do the math and check it out yourself. What is the deal with all these charges' One of the benefits I think of when renting an apartment, is not having all the same bills I had when I owned a house. Borrowing from John Stossel, "Give me a break!"
