My wife and I moved into Highland hills about six months ago. AT first the management was very nice and the apartments look superb. WE decided to move in and in that time the management stopped being so nice. The appliances are cheap and break all the time, the pools/hot tubs never work, most of the workout equipment was broken when we moved in and is STILL broken. The tanning beds break once a week. we have loud neighbors that park in other peoples spots, and this has been an ongoing problem since before we moved in and complaints have not be responded to or taken seriously. People don't pick up after their pets and after WE complained about it we got a notice that we weren't picking up after our dog. . . which we were.And to top it all off they MAKE you pay for CABLE TV and your own water and sewer! Highland hills seems nice on the outside, but once you sign a lease it is not what it seems. It is very overpriced for what you get, I would gladly pay the rent if the amenities worked all the time. the apartments are very spacious and the location is great! But save your money! WE are not angry nor do we want to rant and rave, we just want people to know the truth.
