Nothing good to say about this place. They took all of our ridiculous deposit and tried to take more money to replace the full carpet of the entire place without even attempting to clean it. No parking...sometimes had to park almost a quarter mile away. Extremely noisy neighbors who vandalized vehicles. Rude staff. Outrageous prices. Raised rent $250 after lease was up. Don't move in unless you have money to throw away.

Please let me know how I can get in contact with you. I recently moved out of the Highland Hills apts, and I too am being charged for replacement of the full carpet. I was living there for 3 years and when I moved in the carpet was used and had stains already on the carpet. The only reason I moved in was because I was trying to move out of a house that I was renting and did not want to pay the enourmous rental payments that I was being charged. I am looking forward to your response because I may need to take them to small claims court if they try to make me pay for something that was old and used. After living there for 3 years they should not expect the carpet to look brand new: There is such thing as wear and tear. Please post your response on this review. Thanks. God bless

I am also worried that I will be charged for carpet replacement. Post how this ends up st_student08. I have seen them replace carpet almost every time someone moves out. I think thats how they avoid paying normal wear and tear.

Offer a cash settlement fee to the manager of what you can afford at this time. Go there personally. At a credit agency, they would only get about half of what they are trying to get from you now. If you settle it in person, you have a much better chance of getting out of it without going too broke. There is no way around it or rules that say they can't charge you for the carpet....Trust me, I checked. The best policy is just to get this taken care of soon and hopefully you can save yourself some money off of the bill. Hope this helps!!!
