From a visitor's point of view...

I often went to visit 2 of my girl friends who lived at these apartments. In my opinion, their rent seemed very reasonable compared to what I pay (at Meadow Brook Place), especially since they told me water, sewer, garbage, and cable were all covered, and mine aren't. I wasn't too thrilled about their 2-bedroom apartment layout however. You open the front door and the living room and dining room were right there! I don't know about you, but I don't want the pizza delivery guy seeing what half og my home looks like! Also, one bedroom was "OK" sized, whereas the other bedroom could barely fit a dresser and twin bed, but had a walk in closet!

Also, this may sound strange, but my friends always told me how they thought the maintenance guy was "spying" on them. For example, my friends were showing me where his apartment was from theirs (across the way), and telling me about "why they think he's a freak"... Then, the phone rang and it's him asking my friend who I was because he's never seen me visit before. Another example is how my friends would securely lock their front door at night but would some how mysteriously be wide open when they woke up. They brought up the topic to the maintenance guy in casual conversation, and his reaction was something like "I know, isn't that cool that I have keys to all the apartments in the complex'" In other words, he admitted doing that religiously because it went on for over a month (I stayed with them for about a week, so I witnessed it also). I completely agree with my friends and am happy that they moved out of that place for that reason.

In conclusion, if you want cheap rent that includes most of your utilities and don't mind a "weird peeping-tom" for your maintenance guy, then this should be a good home for you (but for your sake, I hope they got rid of him by now).

*GOOD LUCK APARTMENT HUNTING*
