Mold issues and tenant complaints

Good luck finding ANYWHERE in the pacific Northwest that does not have MOLD issues. Mold is everywhere here. Brand new apartments, old apartments, condos, houses, old and new. It is very unlikely that you will find anywere here that is mold free. I have managed many apartments and owned several homes.
If you have mold issues, then I highly suggest that you move into an apartment that is NOT on a ground level, keep your house clean and well ventelated, and ALWAYS run your fan when bathing or showering, also insure that your dryer hose is not leaking vented wet air into your living space, you can also keep your living space at 70 degrees in the winter and that will help. You can also move your furniture on a regular basis and make sure you don't have any mold growing behing things like sofas, and shelves, if you find it then clean it with warm bleach water and keep your window seals clean with bleach water also, if you have condesation on your windows, take a dry towel and wipe them off dailey. These are things that you can do to help fight mold and keep it at bay. You may be able to find a place with less mold but zero mold, I highly doubt it.
As far as Washington not being a tenant freindly state: YOU are FLAT out wrong WASHINGTON is one of the MOST tenant friendly states in the US! I think that you just do not know or understand your tenant rights enough,I highly suggest you educate yourself you obviously have internet access, so get busy and start learning what your rights actually are as a tenant.
