Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
At first glance this seemed like a great place to live, they are pretty spacious for the price we payed. My husband loved the kitchen! But other than that, I hated it. When we first moved in, the apartment they let us pick ended up being a handicap unit and not at all like the model. When I told them that that wasn't what we wanted they were shocked that it was a handicap unit (the girl there didn't even know they had them!!). The let us pick a different apartment that wasn't ready for move in yet. I wanted them to note everything that needed fixing before they moved in, but they wouldn't, so I did it. Everything seemed ok for a while until our upstairs neighbors moved in. They were nice enough people but there is no insulation at all. I could actually hear them peeing!! If that isn't gross I don't know what is. Another neighbor had several complaints logged against her for having wild parties all the time and it took the managment company several months to do anything about it, she was finally evicted. Parking was ok, it was kind of scary if you got home too late. All in all, I did not enjoy living there and I couldn't wait to move when our lease was up. Plus, they have raised the rent $90 since we moved in July of 05.
