The floor plans at this apartment are fairly nice, I liked the open space between the dining room and kitchen and living room. It made the apartments feel bigger. The neighboorhood is apparently not safe but I have never felt unsafe here. Our cars have never been broken in to, nor our apartment...I go running all the time and have never felt unsafe, though I don't run after dark generally.

The noise isn't bad... I mean you can hear the people when they are super loud upstairs but you will find that in any apartments.

The worst part about this place is the way management will do anything to squeeze more money out of you! We had an incident where my check book was stolen after I had written rent and without thinking I closed my account. I called them the next day to let them know I would bring them another one but they had already put it in the system that my checked had 'bounced' (even though they received the check back with a possible stolen stamped on it), and they put it in our rent history! They also charged us more than $200 dollars for this! Our bank called them, sent them letters, we explained the situation, but NOTHING. They finally agreed to add a letter to our file stating that the incident was not our fault so it wouldn't reflect poorly on our rental history, but our BANK was the ones who refunded us the $200 !!!

Now that the prices are going so far up and we commute to Portland anyway, there doesn't seem much point in staying here. The money we might have saved on rent in the past will dissappear with this increase and the cost of gas to get into Portland!

I think this apartment is okay..nothing horrible...just be wary of the managers!
