I've lived in these apartments for almost a year now. I admit there are some faults with it, such as the small living room, and the paint comes off easy. But I've lived in several other apartments in Vancouver that were way worse. This is why I've renewed my lease. I had an ant problem in my apt, no one else in the building did. After doing preventative measures such as sweeping, vaccuming every day I went to the office to ask about it. They sent the maintenance guy over within 15 min. He put extra cocking around my front and back door. This fixed everything, but the office called me the following day and asked me if I wanted to have the guy who sprays stop by. I didn't have a problem with that, the more preventative stuff the better. He was actually from that company that does the whole green approach to pest control, which i thought was great. He never sprayed anything and there was no bait inside my apt. I was actually suprised by how fast and how well they took care of it.

The office staff always ask me how I'm doing and if I need anything. I like the fact that they have people out once a week who do landscaping, and they do the normal blow the parking lot. But they also come and do the walk ways to the apt doors, which is really nice. I don't always have the time to pick up the dryer lint that makes it out there. I love how the lighting and the granite look, and the fact that there's a back door (less glass to clean). It comes with assigned parking, sometimes the guest parking fills up and you have to park on the street. But it's a gated community so my car is safer. I've had it stolen twice from two different apartment complexes. Not sure why, it's a old mazda... But I've never had any troubles here. I really like the little news letters they put on your door every month, and the little socials they have. I feel like it's a community!

The appliances are newer, and more up to date. I like the tiling in the kitchen and bathroom, it's easier to keep clean. It's great having a full sized washer and dryer, w/s/g paid and free basic cable. I personally feel that if you didn't like how small the apartment was when you saw it during the leasing process you shouldn't have moved in. I managed to arrange my furniture just fine, it took awhile but you work with what you have. The closet in the one bedroom is the whole span of the wall, it's huge. There's a lot of cabinet space on the kitchen, I have a lot of pots, pans, serving dishes and I even had enough room left to use two of them as a pantry. Over all this is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. I hardly notice that I have neighbors, they're so quiet. The best part my rent is only going up $10 when all the other 1x1 apt in vancouver, that are decent, are going to hit $700 by the end of september!
