These apartments were built and furnished as cheaply as possible. All of the appliances are Hotpoint - cheap crap. The garbage disposal is in name only, will not grind ANYTHING, so constantly cleaning out the sink from simply rinsing the dishes, which have to be scrubbed or they will NOT be clean out of the dishwasher. The fridge is set on 2, so everything in the front is not cold, but everything in the back is FROZEN, we have had soda cans split and break open from freezing solid! They told us to just keep everything 4" from the back! That was their solution! "or we can put an old one in here and you will have to defrost it on your own, this one is a newer one, so which do you want." We do not think it is too much to ask for a functioning refriderator, and they are rather small already and not room to keep anything back 4" from back. When we had called them in to look at the fridge, and said we had a problem with our plugs staying in the plug in's they told us they werent about to fix "every little thing in the apartment." Personally I dont find the fact that the vacuum or light can't stay plugged in as a "little thing." The stove is hot or hotter no matter what the knob says! The kitchen sink is about 6" deep! There is no water pressure in kitchen or showers.

We were told the apartment had "new carpet" and all new paint before we moved in - another lie, like another review said. Now management tells us its "newer, not really new." In one bedroom they must not have even cleaned the carpet as we have found thousands of BB's, and also had glow in the dark stars all over the "newly painted walls" When we asked about these things the manager treated us like liars, even so to call us one.

When we try to address concerns to the management they are defensive immediatly saying no one would "ever" have told us there was new carpet and they only "spot" paint the walls as needed. Of course when we looked at an empty apartment in daylight all of the wall stains and such did not show up. The deck walls that you see when you look out of the only window in the house has not been painted for a really long time, and the exlaination was that it was "winter and hard to paint." This has been this way longer than just this winter. They also said they would be painting all of the buildings this summer, which now they saw this is not scheduled until summer of 2005! They do seem to keep up the lawn areas.

The walls seem to be VERY thin, we can hear the people downstairs use the bathroom and take showers (we are upstairs) so I am sure they can hear us as well, because we can hear in each of the bathrooms as well, so there seems to be no privacy. Our neighbors keep to themselves, 2 out of the 4 apartments are empty right now, and have been and they have not even started to clean them for re-rental, which seems strange.

The front door will not shut unless it is locked, if you leave it un-locked you can literally push it open from the outside!
