The maintenace manager and one maintenance man, Mike are exceptionally nice and reliable however the office staff has gone to **** since the old manger left. The new manager never seems to show up for work and left unattended this girl Shandi is running this place into the ground.

In addition to this as soon as we moved in one of their onsight employees got drunk and drove INTO our apartment and ruined everything I had just put into storage - irreplacable family heirlooms. And they were only concerned about them. He wasn't even fired and continued to live across the street from me for months!

Shandi will lie to you to your face to avoid confrontaion and then screw you over every which way.

And it is true! Appliance's suck, no outlets work reliably and water/sewer charge is outrageous. 20.00 more a month than they quoted me at move in. NOt to mention all windows allow cold air in and warm air out so electricity bill is thru the roof.

Also all linoleum was permanetly stained at move in and the promised me THREE times to replace it yet here it still is. I won't be surprised if they try to charge me for it when I finally get out of this hell hole.

RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let us get the story straight...the man who ran into your apartment "storage unit" did a year before work for Prairie View, he did not at the time of the accident...he worked for another apartment complex...NOT Prairie View...not saying what happened was right but at least get the story straight....I live in the general vicinity of your apartment where it happened. Accidents do happen, and also from what I understand he was off duty and not on the job is why he was not fired...if the shoe was reversed would you have wanted to be fired? You all do enough partying yourselves....to err is human to forgive devine.....they were just objects sitting collecting dust in the storage unit...your family was not hurt!!!!!!!!! A tenant...but I do agree the new manager and staff stink.

Well I am red face, as I read the last sentence of my posting in haste I wrote my review wrong...the manager is good I have had an issue only with one staff member, and I don't know her name...sorry Colleen....:0) L.E.G.(the from says a different name, just can not remember for the life of me my password...old age....)

I think he has every right to be angry. Somebody ran into his home that he's paying for. On duty or off, he still did damage. Suffer the consequences.

Babeefairies, they do have the right to be angry...but I do know they were reimbursed for all the lost items...they were just objects not there children who use to run around unsupervised, like many of the children!!! Do you live there? If you don't you should not post when you don't know what happened...also they did not tell the story correctly...like I said I lived in the vicinity of the accident....he did suffer the circumstances as he was made to pay for the whole package the building damage and the items lost.....
