How can you not love a place with on site daycare, two playgrounds, hot tub, pool, and storage space for under $800 a month for a 4bd room'

Um, it's pretty easy to not love it. All you have to do is sign a lease and live there for a little while.

The daycare facility is a nice touch, if you can utilize it. Or if you don't have to live next to it. Ah, nothing like waking up to children screeching within 10 feet of your bedroom. The playground for the center is directly adjacent to a usually full building. (And yes, I have children, but they certainly don't screech like banshees at 8 AM.) The daycare center is not affiliated with the complex in anyway, it just happens to be where the "Y" put their most recent child care facility.

In theory, the pool and hot tub would be nice ammeneties....if they were well take care of, which they are not. Another tenant snagged some of the water and took it to her work for analysis. (She worked at a water treatment facility.) The person in her lab told her that the chemicals in the water used to treat the pool/hot tub were incorrectly mixed and were not doing anything to stem the growth of bacteria. He was very adamant about making sure neither she, nor her children ever used that pool again.

Ah, should I start on the playgrounds? Let's see...one is TINY and tucked away in an odd place. The other is in the same area as the GARBAGE COMPACTOR. Um, ewww.

And last but not least, the "storage". It's a closet on your patio/balcony. Certainly nothing spectacular or noteworthy. I guess they're trying to make up for the utter lack of storage everywhere else inside. Yeah, I really want to store my things in an unheated outside closet. Woo hooo.
