I've been here just over a month now, and I love the place. I have a three bedroom on the second floor--sure, the upstairs neighbors are easily heard (at least moving around-loud creaking and things) but that's what happens when people live above you! I think the management does the best they can, since they are understaffed and have so many tenants to deal with. I love that there are tons of kids around playing all the time, but if you don't have kids, you many not appreciate that. It's a very kid/dog friendly place...I don't have a dog, but have been happy to notice that I don't hear dogs barking much at all...very impressed. Would have made this decision exactly the same way!

Give it a little time. Your opinions will change after you're awakened by drunk drivers hitting parked cars at 3 AM a few times, or as you're awakened by a party two buildings away at 1AM every weekend, or when you find a neighbor kid peeing on your car when you come outside to walk your dog, or when the management tries to convince you not to tell the other tenants when they're (management) doing something illegal like changing the leases after they've been signed, or maybe after you find out that one of the guys in the office has been having "relations" with under-aged tenants, etc. All of these issues occurred while we lived at this complex. Give it some time. You'll soon see what everyone else is talking about...

"Anonymous" is absolutely right, just give it some time. It takes a little over a month for the hell to begin!! Just Beware! and don't think that management is on your side!! They're not!!
