This was the worst place we ever lived. Management was wonderful until we moved in, and then treated us like the garbage that was strewn about the grounds. Maintenance orders had to be actively pursued, and even then, usually didn't get repaired satisfactorily. Upon move-out, they made bogus claims for damage, keeping our deposit, and sued us for an additional $700! These people are professional crooks, stay away at all costs.

Definitely fight them in court. They are well-known to the county courts and are routinely laughed out because of bogus claims. If you don't show up, they win, automatically. Which is what they usually count on. Very few people fight them. Those that do fight them tend to win.
