I never thought I'd actually write a review for an apartment I use to live in, but reading the reviews that are posted, I'm AMAZED that there are so many complainers out there.
I'm not going to sit here and say that Springfield Meadows is the "PERFECT" apartment complex, but I will say that all of you that are on here whining are just that, WHINERS. I can't imagine any of the staff members being rude or disrespectful in any way to a resident there.
I lived there for 3 years and the office always did the best they could, considering how busy they were, to cater to each and every person that walked through the door. Whether that be someone that lived there, or someone looking to live there, or kids, or adults, or mad people, or even the just folks that came in to say HI. I enjoyed getting to know my neighbors there, MOST everybody that lived there were very nice people, and took PRIDE in our little community.
As for you whiners complaining about hearing your neighbors... GIVE ME A BREAK. I heard my neighbors all the time...So' I do in my current apartment too; I did in every apartment before that too.
Whiners talking about police activity... Do you mean to tell me that you don't ever want to see the cops at your apartment complex' What if something bad was happening' Don't you think the cops being there to protect you is a good thing'
Whiners complaining about kids... Do you remember what it was like to be a kid' To live somewhere that you felt safe enough to run around and explore' Don't be mad at the kids for being kids, they're just doing what kids do. I will agree at times I thought the kids were a little out of control but that's not the complex's fault. Are you required to discipline children at your place of employment' Better yet, do you show up at a person s door to discipline a child that's not yours' Or tell them how they should raise their child' How would you take it if someone did that to you' It is the complex s job to create rules for safety and try to enforce them the best they can.
Whiners about construction... Have any of you stopped to think about how old that property is' I mean it looks new, but if I remember correctly they were built in the early 2000s, well now they're a few years old... NOT PERFECT
Whiners about maintenance... Again, I'm AMAZED anyone would complain about that team. I'm not sure what it's like now, but when I lived there they were very attentive to me and my apartment needs. I had a LOT of close friends there and I never heard one complaint about maintenance.
Whiners about ants... I'm not sure why you would call an exterminator when the office would do that for you''' How can you complain about that'!
All in all, my experience was a good one. The only reason I left there, was because my job transferred me up north.
Please, anyone looking to for a new home, disregard all these WHINERS and take my word, there is NOTHING wrong with Springfield Meadows. I assume all of these negative reviewers , had a bad experience because, THEY WERE GOOD RENTERS!!!!!

In the 3 years you lived at Srpingfield Meadows, you spent so much time contacting management that you know the inner workings of the office. You don't see a problem with the cops getting called out on a regular basis - it makes you feel safer, even though whatever domestic disturbance is long past the assistance of the police. You admit the kids there are out of hand, but you don't see that as a bad thing ... kids will be kids. Even though the property is only 9 years old, you still imply that it feels like a very old complex. You, and "a LOT of close friends" of yours all had to call maintenance out frequently, but again, you don't see it as a problem because at least the maintenance guy was friendly. It's sad to think that tenants felt it necessary to pay for an exterminator themselves - and even worse to know that their neighbor (you) publicly calls them whiners for it. Your closing comment totally explains your point of view to me: "[they] had a bad experience because, THEY WERE GOOD RENTERS"

im pretty sure these last two reviews were by the same person--i noticed something in both, that the questions ended with an apostrophe (') instead of a question mark. CAUGHT!

OMG this review ended with an apostrophe instead of a question mark? REALLY!? Just because there's another person out there that doesn't like listening to peoples unrealistic complaints doesn't mean they??????re the same person. I??????m not saying Springfield Meadows is the perfect place to live but it's a hell of a lot better than what people were complaining about. Remember a review is based on people's opinions not facts. You don't have to agree with what's been said but just because someone's opinion differs from yours, doesn't mean they were BFF's with management or that they work there! MORON!

All the bad reviews ARE based on facts. And since you want to call people names for writing an honest review about a horrible experience, I would guess that you are Valerie or close friends with her because that is how she manages, by making it everyone else's problem or fault. Not to mention how many lies drip from her fangs. There is no such thing as a "good living experience" at Springfield Meadows. At least not while Valerie Hayes is there. If you expect her to do her job, she will treat you like an idiot or she will just make up something about you to get you thrown out. You've been warned!
