We have lived here for about a year and thoroughly enjoy our townhome. We have had a couple of issues with neighbors being noisy late at night, however the manager has taken care of it instantly. The last time I called the manager and left a message on her answering maching about noise it was around 3:00AM and I didn't expect any response until the next day, but I wanted her to know they were creating a problem. WITHIN 10 MINUTES, I heard her knocking on the rude neighbors' door and telling them to be quiet immediately - they did! Whenever I have requested maintenance it has been taken care of within the week, sometimes within the same day. The only criticism I have has nothing to do with the manager - it is the owner. The owner requires that each tenant pay to clean their own chimney - I have yet to talk to ANYONE here who is willing to pay $150.00 to clean the chimney when it belongs to the owner and, under the law, is his responsibility to clean. This tightwad policy is ignorant and dangerous because of the potential fire hazard. The owner will find that out if they ever have a chimney fire here. His insurance company will not pay for damages and will cite negligence as their legitimate cause for denial, he will end up paying perhaps hundreds of thousands of dollars because he saved a few hundred - ignorant. The same thing applies to the dryer vents. Springbrook Village just had a dryer vent fire, it is only a matter of time before it happens here...
