I lived in these apartments for 6 years and have been out for a year. I am writing this review because I think people need to know thw truth about this place. First of all, it is low-income housing, which is nothing to be ashamed of. Also, it has mostly 2 and 3 b/r apts, with a few 1br's, and even some 4br's. Translation: LOTS of kids. Unfortunately, many parents choose not to supervise their children, which leads to messy grounds sometimes, and lots of noise. The whole time I lived there, I watched a series of managers (5 or 6, I think) work really hard to keep order there, which I don;t think was that easy...Anyway, I got prompt maintenance if I called and let them know when I wanted them to come--something management encouraged me to do--when I was vague or said "whenever", they fixed it whenever. Not rocket science, is it' I never had any problems with my neighbors (although some were kinda creepy!) or with noise because I accepted that, if I wanted very low rent, I was going to have to live in a noisy apt complex---anyone know of a quiet one' :-) Anyway, I went to management about the things I knew they COULD take care of, called the police about things I felt were police issues, enjoyed the amenities, and that was it. If you need affordable housing and you understand that apartment living = noise and dealing with other people who may be different than you, check this place out. If you expect your landlord to be a gestapo toward everyone you don't like, but treat you with kid gloves, if you expect an apartment complex where there is no noise and the maintenance men exist to serve you and ONLY YOU the second you demand it, and if you want everything to be 100% perfect all the time, look elsewhere---then call me so I can move there too!!!
