Former Renter - Not too impressed

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I rented the one bedroom with loft (Nice looking apartment i might add).
It was nice at first (my first place), but it was loud. Most of the noise was construction noise, but still very annoying.
My biggest compaints are the appliances sucked (mainly the oven, it was a poor quality oven. The dishwasher was loud too).
The construction of the apartment was poor, stuff broke easily. In the bathroom the trip constantly peeled away from the walls and despite my calling in all the time, no one ever fixed it.
The pool is only open 2 months, and the work out room is not 24hours.
I did end up having to break lease to leave (couldnt afford it) and they charged me SO MUCH to leave. I had to pay my 1 month deposit, plus the 1 month they gave me free, plus another month other break lease fees... That was alot of money!
And looking back, the construction kinda makes it look like a mental hospital.
It was nice for a first apartment, but i think im moving to Wy'East Point or Sterling Heights (nicer floorplans with more space for the money).
I personally would not reccomend it to my friends.
