I loved living at Van Mall North. While house hunting I was always comparing our apartment to the house. The apartment was perfect for our needs with a large amount of square footage (12,000). The kitchen a dream come true, a fab private laundry room. I loved the HUGE master bedroom, large enough for our king sized bed, two dressers, night stands, desk and walkway. The master bath offered a real shower and giant sized walk in closet. The attached garage offered more storage space as well. They are dog friendly and the staff is AMAZING.
The apartments are on the older side, so maintenance was needed, but everytime we needed something done it was done promtly and correctly. We got new carpet, new washer and dryer, new hot water heater and new fridge while living there.
My husband and I have lived in MANY apartments before buying our home. We both agreed we were not moving from Van Mall to another apartment. This is by FAR THE BEST APARTMENT we both have ever lived in, Vancouver, Portland and Chicago included.
My only complaint was the MALL noise at night time. If you apartment is on the north side this should be a problem. Also there tends to be car theft from the parking area.
