i am an ex-tenant of Vancenter. This is truly one of the best apartment buildings in the PDX/Van areas. Extremely professional and results oriented management. Great maintenance team. Clean building and just give you that "upscale" ambience throughout. I especially love the location as it is only 7 miles to downtown PDX, 11 miles to PDX airport and the transit center is right next to the building. Parking is extremely ample and very reasonably priced. also, the building is concrete built thus your neighbor's noise does not get to you. i will definitely go back to Vancenter if i moved back to the area.

1. it will be perfect if the building is totally smoke free. if you neighbor smoke at the balcony and you happened to open your window, the smoke will get into your place. a smoke free building will be great for all tenants and also save the management a lot of wear and tear plus fire risk.
2. train noise. this has nothing to do with the management. this is just the location of the vacinity as the train track is within a mile from the building. if you are bothered by train noise (well into 2-3am), Vancenter is not for you. i myself gradually get adjusted to the train noise.
