Lived in a 1 bedroom at this complex for almost 2 years. Nice to have the vaulted ceilings and fireplace, and the walkin closet is HUGE. The price on the garage wasn't too bad either. Unfortunately the HUGE downside to living here was the management and maintenance.

Getting a yellow jacket problem taken care of took repeated requests, as did a problem with birds nesting in the vent ducts, and leaking dishwasher. The dishwasher problem was never resolved. Maintenance was extremely rude on every occasion.

The management was friendly enough, but repeatedly made mistakes with our water bill payment (we paid directly to the leasing office). Many of our checks were never cashed, were lost, or were not deposited on time. On other occasions our payment was noted in their ledger, but not applied to the account. Rent checks typically took at least two weeks to clear our account.

In the two years we lived there, they attempted to raise our rent by almost 16%, to "bring the rent in line with the current market." Unfortunately *I* do not get an 8% raise per year, nor does anyone else I know, so a 16% hike in two years was totally unacceptable. When we decided to move out, we were told we needed to give 20 days notice and could move out at the end of the 20 days, end of lease. After we set up a move in at a new apt, we were told we needed to give notice at least 20 days before the end of a given month, regardless of what we were told previously. This forced us to reschedule the move out to 2 weeks later.

When we did the walk through, the manager, Tina, was extremely rude and condescending, and made personal attacks. We were told we would need to pay for the carpet cleaning and apartment cleaning fees, which we had NEVER had to do in the 7 years we've been renting. Paying these fees was also not in our contract. On the whole, our experience with the management was shocking. Skip this complex and check out others first. From recent reviews it seems the management has gone even MORE downhill.
