Bit confused by other reviews as I love this place.

My husband and I moved to the area temporarily for business from Los Angeles and signed a one-year lease at this property.
From day one the staff were VERY friendly and VERY accommodating. The grounds are kept immaculate and I am THANKFUL that they are so on top of ensuring the grounds (and yes - people's decks ... there is nothing I hate more than looking at someone's random garbage that they have dumped on their deck / balcony) remain clean and tidy.
I operate my business from home and personally witness the grounds crews working feverishly everyday to ensure maintenace is up to speed. I also am in the main management office 3 or 4 times a week (usually picking up packages) and the girls in there are so sweet & friendly.
I simply cannot believe the bad reviews on this site. It is the few bad reviews on this site that could potentially ruin it for the many (prospective renters).
Keep this in mind when reading these reviews - those that complained are most likely those renters that tried to push the boundaries and the management would not let them get away with it. If you are a good renter and respect the property and your fellow neighbors ... you will have NO problems with management - guaranteed! However - if you are a problem renter that does not respect the property and your neighbors ... YES ... you will have problems with the management ... and that is one of the things I love about this place!
So - before deciding to look elsewhere ... give the office a call and find out for yourself how great they are. Unfortunately - business will take us back to L.A. at the end of our lease ... and I know we are going to be very upset to leave this place (you DEFINITELY don't get this kind of service down there - oh - and - our apartment down there would rent for approximately $2200.00 ... WOW. )!!!

Before you label other reviewers as "problem renter"s then maybe you should read the actual reviews. Management has switched out since most of them were written. (I know it has since mine was written) Many of the reviews say something to that affect. I have never been a problem renter and have have never been spoken to like that by apartment staff in my life. Trivializing the very real problems others have had with the staff and degrading them for voicing their own "personal opinion" doesn't really give credence to your review.
Also this: "you will have NO problems with management - guaranteed!" is a little reckless don't you think? You are not in a position to guarantee anything.

Anonymous,
I assure you - it is not a matter of needing to 'get over myself'. I am simply voicing my personal opinion and comparing this place to other apartments that I have rented in the past. I am also commenting on the efficient method in which I have seen the management deal with what I think are 'less than desirable' traits in an apartment complex.
We were concerned when we moved here as we were coming from owning our own home ... and thought the adjustment back to apartment living may be difficult - but I can honestly say this complex makes it easy.
I am sorry to hear that you have issues with the property & staff - and hope that they can be resolved as quickly as possible. Would you mind sharing what your issues are ... (as something to watch out for in the future - we have only been here a few months ... maybe we just have not seen the 'dark side' yet.)?
Have a wonderful night.

It's so funny how you say that people are problem renters. I had absolutly no problem with anybody at the place WHILE I lived there. It turned into another story after you give notice and try to leave the place. It seems that all of their hospitality ends when they know you are leaving. Such as: recieving your deposit back, their cleaning fees, and all of the things you deal with when ending a relationship with an apartment community. I loved it until i left it.

If you did not need to get over yourself, then perhaps you should have rethought your statement "those that complained are most likely those renters that tried to push the boundaries and the management would not let them get away with it."
You have no idea what the personal situations are that other renters have experienced with the staff, nor is it your business unless they decide to share it with you. You shouldn't, however, assume that they are problem renters without knowing their story.
