Giving it time

Renewed my lease for another year and going to give it time. The improvements are helping, but the rent also went up. Understandable I guess. Many of the complainers about this apartment complex maybe were also part of the problem' Don't know; but just prior to my moving in here some LCD TV's were stolen from the excersise fitness room. Thought to be an inside job. With the new security fence up in place, it should lessen those who don't belong from just walking or driving on in. Of course it won't stop everyone. But it is an improvement. I also have noticed the turnover in office staff, but maybe that has settled down now. I do like the fact that this apartment complex gives everyone a corner apartment so as not to have neighbor noise from both sides of the walls. Quieter than where I moved from. Some TV, Stereo, or pool noise is acceptable to me during normal hours though. Renters insurance is now required of all new tenants and existing tenants renewing their lease. I think that is a good thing and not all apartments require that. Maybe the rise in costs may force some of the riff raff to move on, if they haven't already. Those that think the rent price is too high should visit RentOMeter.com and check for themselves. It is still in the median range for the area and such, but starting to approach the high end. I will give it time and see what other improvements may be on the way. Maybe new washers/dryers, stoves, or refrigerators' So far for one year I like it here, but understand everyones opinions and circumstances. It takes time to turn things around, and maybe that's in the works' I do miss not having a carport though. Not everyone gets one here like where I moved from. But I can live with it.

This place is way over priced and is cheap made. Everything started to fall apart the week after moving in. You can get a townhouse for the same price as their 2bedroom appartments.
