As a first time renter that had grown up in the area, I had very specific expectations that an apartment needed to be able to live up to - and Vista View met and exceeded all of them.
I needed an apartment that was clean, safe, and well-maintained. It also needed to be pet-friendly should I choose to take one of my cats with me and being able to support high-speed internet was a must. I preferred apartments that had the washer/dryer in each unit and was located nearby Vancouver's limited public transit.
Vista View was my top selection that met all of these qualifications, but what sealed the deal was meeting with the staff. I didn't find the apartments themselves exceptional - they were serviceable, open, with sufficient outlets and of a recent construction. Yet the warm reception that we were met with that blended polite and professional with genuine warmth and personality struck me.
I haven't regretted my decision to move here, much less remain at this complex.
We originally moved into a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment on the second level. We were surrounded on all sides by neighbors that we rarely heard. It was surprising, and almost eerie, how quiet the apartment was! The open kitchen was one of my favorite aspects of this particular floor plan. Anticipating a roommate, we moved to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on the ground level. The bedrooms are quite large and I like having a pantry in the kitchen.
The grounds are well-maintained weekly. The apartments in general stay appreciatively quiet - even for a day sleeper. If I want to check my mail at midnight - there's no hesitation when I exit my apartment as I feel very safe here. When I had an issue that required maintenance, the manager himself personally attended the issue within a half hour of my submitting the cry for help. Parking has never been a problem for us as we have one vehicle and one covered, reserved carport space is included in rent. Even so, I have never seen the parking lot be full.
Most importantly, the office staff are real people who care about their tenants.
A coworker of mine had resided at Vista View for nearly four years before she ultimately upgraded to a house. She claimed that these are the nicest, quietest apartments she had ever lived in. I had a lot of expectations when I moved in and Vista View has yet to disappoint.
