Seriously, the prices are low and as a result, they have people move in that do no have a lot of resources.

When we moved in, the walk thru list was 4 pages long.

Very dirty unit, but we had to move and it was close in and affordable.

We cleaned it up even though "it was clean" per mgmt.

Window cracked, stains and dirty carpet, obviously marked up paint on the walls, bathrooms were gross, etc.

We took pictures and kept the list for when we moved out to show we did not do the items listed.

We lived there for 1.5 yrs, always paid bills on time.

When we moved out, they charged us over $600 for "carpet stains, marks on walls and carpet shampoo" That is a lot of money to us.

They totally take advantage and rip you off knowing you can't afford an attorney.

We showed them the walk thru list and pictures from when we moved in and they said "too bad, so sad" "do something about it" I would never move in here or refer it to someone even my only other choice was a friends couch or my car.

While the location in Cascade Park is good, the actual neighborhood is somewhat sketchy.

I had a neighbor who would watch for me to come home.

Management comes in without notice.

I know the cost is less but if you can go somewhere else, do it

You are so right about these apartments. First off , when you move in the carpet is so dirty and they claim they cleaned it, also the maintenance guy that comes in is rude and doesn't like his job, was constantly cursing to himself as he was trying to fix the 30 year old washer and dryers, which btw, they refuse to replace and proudly tell you that they're 30 years old!!the grounds are dirty and not kept up, paint is chipping off on the apartments and there is absolutely no upkeep to any of the apartments. Manager is rude too, he thinks these places must be nice because he walks around with a scowl on his face looking for problems, when the only problem are his dirty nasty apartments.

When i moved in these apartments there was a stain on the carpet and we wrote it on the lease and he said we wouldnt be charged for it, a year later when my husband and i moved out, the crook Floyd charged us the security deposit plus $55 on top of that saying he had to dye the carpet due to the stain we made, even though it was writen on the lease he said because we didnt write bleach stain on the lease we werent specific enough so we were responsible for it. The washer did the job but it was very loud, the dryer never worked i had to dry my clothes 3 times in a row which incresed my power bill. we requested for these to be replaced and when they were it didnt do any good, same results. I wonder i you shampoo the carpet when you move what would his excuse be to keep the deposit and charge you extra??? Floyd is a crook and he knows it.

Okay, I lived there for 13 years and 2 months exactly. I know the current maintenance guys by name and have seen them come and go over the years. I did most of my own repairs because it was more of a hassle to get anything done than to just do it yourself. You can't just make a call. You have to go to the office and fill out a form and a phone call just won't do. They don't come any more ---- than the manager of the Wildflower Apartments. Thinks he's a cop or something. Documents everything. All apartments are 2 bedroom and all appliances, (dishwashers, washer. & dryers) are old and exactly alike. That allows for switching parts and otherwise [Mickey mousing] whatever is wrong. I was told by two of the maintenance workers when I moved out that our apartment was in great shape by comparison, (don't forget we had been there over 13 years. Floyd kept our deposit - he can have it - and I can tell him where to stick it as well. He documented the tile needed to be replaced and he's absolutely right. Between the various leaks over the years from the bathtub, sink and toilet that were never any more than temporarily repaired, the tile started coming up along the tub. The repair job was a strip of plastic held poorly in place with silicon cement that attracted dirt and filth around the edges. We were charged for wear on the carpet. Yes, after 13 years. We had a pipe burst in the attic and the bedroom ceiling turned into a small lake over a period of time. Water soaked through one wall to the point where the drywall had the consistency of oatmeal and then down into the carpet and padding underneath. My daughter could not stay in that room without getting ill. I'm not an expert but I always suspected mildew which will turn to mold and be a much bigger problem later. After about the biggest fight of my 13 years there the end result was a bad repair job on the [oatmeal] wall and the manager sent his carpet cleaner guy. My wife finished the job on the wall and I pulled up the carpet and replaced the mildew padding underneath. We were also charged for the walls because the manager said they were discolored due to cigarette smoke. Hmm... cigarettes are still legal as far as I know and paint lasting 13 years is new to me. We offered to paint it ourselves years ago but the manager refused to supply the paint but the former maintenance guy stole some and gave it to us and we painted the mildew room, bathrooms and kitchen so do another walk-thru manager and give us credit for all our hard work okay? Pets are not allowed in wildflower apartments which suits me fine because I don't like pets anyway. We are being charged for the damage our dog did. I guess that would be an invisible dog. This manager is apparently delusional. I'm wondering just what the damage done by the imaginary dog is? Either way, I'm out of there and although others are calling Floyd a crook and everything else I will give him the benefit of the doubt and a little understanding. He is not out to rob people but rather run an apartment complex with his lips firmly attached to the owners ---.
