This place was a mess when I checked in, but I came from California and took it sight unseen. The apartment I was promised (and had seen) was not vacated, but the apartments cashed my deposit check anyway. I began looking at other apartments just in case. I came across an ad. in The Columbian with the names of the manager and the assistant with their phone numbers (not the apartment name) offering a free month. I asked about this, but they said that it wasn't for the apartment I was looking at; still, after all the trouble, they agreed to give me a month free. When I moved in, the blinds fell off the wall, the sink was damaged and leaked, and the shower did not work in the guest bathroom. The blinds took a few weeks, the sink took a couple of months, and the shower took three months. In addition, there were many large spiders coming up out of the broken tub and mice in my storage closet. During the heavy rain, my apartment entry flooded, and I had to wade out in foot deep water. Also, the inside of the window leaked in the living room, probably contributing to the mold problem. They tried to fix it twice. The eves are not working properly causing the water to run straight over the outside of the windows. There was also mold above the washer. They cleaned over this with over the counter mold cleaner and spray painted it. While at these apartments, my son and I went to the doctor several times for respiratory trouble. The management would never answer me when I asked for a price adjustment. The tenants sit around the pool and compare horror stories about how long it takes to fix anything and how rude the staff is. Finally I spoke with the general manager who let me out of my lease. They also did not require that I pay the month free back. That was the best part about my stay. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
