Lions Gate is a really a great apartment complex. The apartments are nice, and laid out really well. The buildings are still fairly new so it's a clean living environment. The kitchens are open, and each unit has it's own washer/dryer and AC unit (essential for Walla Walla summers!) The mangaer is GREAT! He's very helpful and friendly; he keeps the grounds safe and is willing to help if anything is needed, you just need to ask. The office is open during business hours which can be difficult to get to if you also work business hours, but I've never had a problem reaching the managment by phone when needed.

For apartments, these are pretty quiet units. Yes, you can sometimes hear your neighbors, but that's apartment living for ya. This is the most quiet apartment I've had. For the most the people living here are respectful and heed the quiet hours that start at 10. The biggest problem group is the community college students. They can get loud, have parties, and clog up the parking, but the management doesn't let them get away with much.

In Walla Walla you could probably pay a mortgage for a little more than the rent here, but if renting is the path you're taking the Lions Gate really is a great place to go. They are the nicest apartments in town. Compared to other cities though, the rent here is decently priced!
