My husband and I have lived here for the past 2 years. The location is great but the leasing office staff leaves alot to be desired. They are decidedly unfriendly and we?ve been put off by how little they really care about their residents. You can definitely tell this place is corporate owned.
Waterford Place has a lot of turnover in its residents. For example, the apartment across the hall from us has been vacant 4 times since we moved in and is currently standing empty. We don?t get alot of upstairs noise but anyone walking on the stairs or through the hallways makes alot of commontion. Don?t live on the ground floor or you?ll have people walking by staring into your apartment as the sidewalk is conveniently located quite close to the building. If you live in the satellite buildings instead of the main complex, parking is not an issue but it?s almost impossible to find a space in the buildings near the office. Rent is high because Archstone complexes tend to raise their rent to make up for the fact that their screening process is very lax. (no crims, no checking to see if someone makes the income to afford the place, just a credit check) The apartments are okish structurally but not all that attractive or well planned as far as space is concerned. Like the previous poster said, the all yellow kitchen is dingy looking and I think our apartment has one stud holding the whole place up.
It feels like Waterford Place has really gone downhill in the last two years as far as living experience goes. Yeah, they still cut the grass and powerwash the walks but the staff is unfriendly and the residents are louder and messier. In short, we can?t justify paying the high rent for what we get. The amenities aren?t all that nice. I certainly wouldn?t recommend anyone to rent here.

I agree about the Archstone problem. They just bought our apartment complex in Bellevue, and rents have gone up while service goes down. I will never live in another Archstone-owned place again.
