My wife and I really like these apartments. I will agree with other reviewers, in that the managers have changed, but the new manager is excellent. If you have questions, she'll get them answered for you. I do also agree that the appliances and furnaces are a little outdated, but what do you expect from a building built in the 80's. (Although it'd be nice having gas appliances) Besides, it's a big investment to upgrade and service these appliances and utilities, and you can't expect much from ANYONE in economic times like these.
In any sense, they have spend a lot of time re-painting the pool room and getting things fixed up here and there. The maintainence personnel are wonderful. Sure, the spaces in the garage are small, and the appliances aren't great, but you could always buy your own. Show me any other place around that you could get a pool, hot tub, sauna, lounge, locked entry, large apartments, on-site maintainence, underground parking, and semi-low utility bills for $600 or less per month.
One more thing, I have never had any issues with loud neighbors or people in the hall. If people are too loud, call the cops.
