We looked a several places before choosing Hawk's Ridge and picked it because of the added amenitites. However, we haven't been able to use them because they were not open. We were told the pool would be open around Memorial Day, try the end of the summer. I can say I have used the pool one time this whole summer-and that is because it was not open as with the fitness center was not open when we were told...we kept getting the run around.... we are waiting for equipment etc. From the start it was bad as when we moved in the apartment was not cleaned from the previous tenant. Grrr - so instead of moving in things we had to clean first and I am not talking a little bit I am talking bleaching it was gross! We have been with out water in the night, don't you think they would let you know of this or acknowledge it' No the haven't. We have asked for things to be fixed and they have not. Parking underground is an issue at times because the garage door openers sucks and often gets stuck! People park in your spot, the door to the underground parking from upstairs is locked (for saftey) but once again it gets jammed and know one fixes it. The stairs and entrance are often not cleaned. New carpet was installed...once again we were not informed of this. The installers were unprofessional, did not vaccum or clean up after they were finished. Smoking is allowed and it comes through the ventaliation or something because we can smell smoke in our apartment and we do not smoke! Construction is taking place and it is dusty and loud at times, trucks everywhere so you can't get through. The make money off of the tenants by not letting you have your own cable or internet. It was through a provider and it was not a bad price but something happened we are not sure what but wires were cut and we were with out service. Now Hawk's Ridge makes money off of the cable and internet. Some tenants were informed some were not about this and rates went up which wouldn;t be bad but they went up a lot we would be better off having it on our own as it would be cheaper and when things are wrong we can make sure they get fixed not the management. The management seems nice but they don't listen to tenenats or communicate with them. Would not rent here again. Check all of your options.
