just read the previous comment about manager. Obviously this is someone who did damage to the apartment and got charged for it. I have lived here for 5 years and have no problems with the manager. I was upset to see her quit. any repairs I request get done promptly, granted not always correctly and I need it done again. That's maintenance mans fault and not the managers. Anything that the manager could get down she would. Sometimes, she would have to go to the owner and he will suggest something else be done. And no I am not " a cute guy".

Wait until you move out...then you'll think twice when you find out they don't depreciate for the age of anything. Then if you break something you pay new price. Never mind the person before you used it and paid rent on it. Nevermind you used it and paid rent on it. She was always helpful when it suited her but she was too scared of the owner. She would not admit that she originally gave me 'immunity' because of the age of the broken item because that would get her in trouble with the owner.
