We lived in our place for 3 years... drawbacks: can hear neighbors through the walls, smokers lived all around us and we were non-smokers with a baby - the smoke wafted in our stairwell and living room!!!! The place looked really nice when we first moved in and it was clean, but then we had Wasp Fest and Spider Fest each year. When we called to ask the management for help, the person onsite gave us a spray bottle of poison. Also, the boards in the townhomes are NOT cured. When the barometric pressure changes, there are huge loud pops from the boards as they expand and contract. Also, there is no central air - only a unit in the living room. If you have a small child there is little way to get the bedrooms down the halls cooled down.... and that's just plain dangerous with SIDS risks. The temp in our son's room during the summer was often near 80, even with the air running full blast in the living room, fans down the hall and into his room. OH the best part' Snow removal... or NON-snow-removal. Our second year there, they allowed the drains to plug up, didn't plow the snow, people kept getting stuck in the parking lots. Our third year, when we called to ask that they plow the drives, the person on crew went ballistic on us over the phone! neato... don't waste your money on this place. There are nice, courteous, kind people in Wisconsin... I'm sure you can find somewhere just as nice without the hassles!
