I moved into a 2 bed/2 bath here in June of 2006 and renting was awesome. The accomodations, maintenance and management were all great. The apartment manager went above and beyond to give us anything we wanted/needed. They were running a great promotion as well, so the prices were very reasonable. Since then, a new management has come to work here. I'm pretty sure it's still Fiduciary, however, it has gone downhil...fast! The rent prices have increased dramatically, and they are unwilling to work with their tenants at all. One would think that if a tenant was here for two years, they might be willing to offer them the same special as everyone else...even if it's only $50 or $100 off per month...even for a few months. Not here. The maintenance has also gotten worse. Our dishwasher and garbage disposal have been making terrible noises for about 5 months, and since we turned in a maintenance request nobody has contacted us. Needless to say, we are through at this apartment complex. We have found that for about $150-$200 per month less, you can live in a nearly new ( <5 years old ) apartment building in the Madison area with more ammenities (indoor pool, spa, workout, etc...) so that's where we are headed. I highly recommend doing more research before moving into the Landmark.
