I have lived at Stone Crest Apartments for almost two years now. The property Manger is AWESOME and the apartment is really nice! Maintenance is great and quick to respond. The neighborhood is not great. Fitchburg police have their hands full with the housing across the street and there are a lot of gun shots in the area that we hear often. For the price, this building is ,mediocre. Even as apartments go, the walls/ floors are very thin. I can hear my neighbor upstairs using the toilet. The old management didn't really manage at all, but kept the place really clean. The new management are from high point woods (a really bad place) and the hallways smell like dirt now. It is in a sketchy neighborhood - but this particular apartment complex is very safe, clean and maintained. I've been here almost two years, and have never had a problem with noise, pests/bugs, maintenance, etc. Buildings are older, but very well maintained, and any maintenance issues are quickly resolved.
