Good Place...But Don't expect much back on your deposit

I lived here for only 6 months before having to relocate. I lived with my boyfriend and after breaking up I moved out. Getting off the lease was easy...but I got nothing in return. I got a cat 7 days before I moved out I had to pay an extra $250 security deposit beyond my already $500 security deposit. I never got any of that $250 back because they said incase my cat did any damage...my cat was only there for 7 days and 3 of those days she was gone when I left to not stay there. I doubt she did any damage at all in 4 days. During the winter months you better own your own shovel...they would always plow you in and plowing was horrible. I fell due to their poor job of plowing/shoveling several times. They did clean the hallways and carpet in the hallways atleast once a week...which was nice. Don't have a real x-mas tree or if your neighbor does and leaves pine tree needles by your door they will call you and acuse you of having a real tree and threaten to kick you out. With the assigned parking you should just have an extra parking spot just in case, even if you don't need it, get it, because if you aren't in your stall by 8pm someone else will be. Then I called the night staff and they said they couldn't do anything unless that car was still there until 8am the next morning. Even though there are signs saying assigned parking or you will be towed...don't worry you will never be towed. Sound proofing is excellent! You can't hear anything...maybe people in the hallway walking past your door but that's it. Don't expect much of your security deposit back though. I've been told by others who lived there and moved out recently that out of there $500-$750 security deposit they only got back $125-$200 after living only a year there. They make everyone pay $100 out of their security deposit to have the carpet professional cleaned after you move out and so they can re-paint the walls. This place was nice and would of kept living there if I could afford it by myself but I couldn't. They have every excuse in the book to try and get and keep any of your money as possible. So watch out!
